I was wondering. Does remotely activating the A/C before heading out actually help preserve range?

If you hit the fan button, it warms up or cools the car and gets the battery ready to go. Or you can just hop in and drive. I like to keep the whole dashboard lit up. It shows me the battery and motor temps, and there's even a line that shows me what the ideal temps are.
