Does remote A/C help preserve range?

Cooling the cabin with remote A/C while the truck is plugged in means less strain on the battery once you’re on the road. That initial cooldown can use a good chunk of energy, so handling it ahead of time helps preserve range. If you do it while the truck’s still plugged in, you’re using grid power instead of battery power, which means you’ll start your drive with a more efficient battery. It’s especially useful in really hot weather when the A/C has to work harder. Enjoy those extra miles! ✌

If you hit the fan button, it warms up or cools the car and gets the battery ready to go. Or you can just hop in and drive. I like to keep the whole dashboard lit up. It shows me the battery and motor temps, and there's even a line that shows me what the ideal temps are.
