I’ve got a 2023 Lightning ER with around 5,000 miles. Last night, I charged it at home using the Ford Charge Station Pro, going from 7% to 100%, and it took a solid 10 hours. Is that typical for this charger or the truck, or could something be up with my setup?

Charging from 7% to 100% in 10 hours seems pretty slow for the Ford Charge Station Pro...have you checked your setup?

Oh, that’s totally fair! What kind of setup are you running - 80 amps, maybe? Just so you know, the truck’s doing its thing balancing all the cells, so those last few percent of charging can really drag, like, over an hour kind of slow.

Make sure your home’s electrical setup is on point, old wiring or sketchy circuit breakers can definitely mess things up. But, like @prapto68 said, the truck might slow down the charge near the end to keep the battery safe, so it could be a mix of both.. Also, how’s the charge rate when you’re at public stations? That might give you a clue if it’s the truck or the charger causing the slowdown.

I had the same with my Lightning ER, charging from 12% to 100% took around 8 hours on the Ford Charge Station Pro. It seems normal, and yes there are no issues with my setup..
