So today makes it exactly three months with my Lightning Lariat, and if you've been following my discuss on this forum you will know that I’m really enjoying it! I had a small glitch where the dashboard display blacked out, but a quick battery reset sorted that out. I picked it up from KOONS Ford in Los Angeles after it was transferred from their dealership in San Diego.

But now it seems I am dealing with some frustration over my free Ford 80 AMP Pro charger. I called the dealer, then Ford, and finally Sunrun to get some clarity. I discovered that Ford hadn’t entered my information correctly in their system. Sunrun took my details and promised to ship the charger, but I still haven’t received a tracking number. The Electric Vehicle Battery Specialist from Ford is now looking into it, and I was told to expect an email soon. Thankfully, I found a $30 adapter to use my Tesla 48A NAC charger with my Lightning while I wait! I’ll keep you updated on what happens next.

That Tesla adapter sounds like a lifesaver, I love a good cost-effective solution. I’ve read about others having issues with the Charge Station Pro delays, so you’re definitely not alone there.

So, three months with the Lightning and still loving it – that's great to hear! That dashboard blackout must have given you a fright, but thankfully it was a quick fix. But seriously, what's the deal with the charger drama? Having to jump through hoops with the dealer, Ford, and Sunrun is ridiculous. Fingers crossed the EV specialist can finally get things moving. That Tesla adapter trick is genius, though! Have you used it much yet? And definitely keep us in the loop on the charger situation – we're all on pins and needles waiting to hear if it finally shows up! What do you think the hold-up is, anyway?
