Over the past few weeks, my Charge Station Pro has been charging more slowly. It was operating at 18–19 kW at first, but it is now having trouble exceeding 8.4 kW. The station settings are set at 80 amps, and the vehicle is error-free. The decline deviates from the typical charge curve. The truck recently reached 3,100 miles and is wired according to specifications. Before I spend hours on the phone with Ford, do you have any suggestions?

This could be due to overheating. I’d suggest checking the connections and making sure the CSP or cable isn’t getting too hot. If everything looks fine, then you should contact Ford for further support.

Have you messed around with derating on FordPass? I’ve played with it a couple of times when I didn’t need the full 19 kW. But the thing is, when I dropped it down and then bumped it back up, it took a few attempts before it actually locked in the change. So weird!

Yeah, thanks. I'll check FordPass for derating settings and see if adjusting them resolves the charging issue.

Thanks so much for posting this! We're dealing with the exact same issue with my son, and we've been trying to figure it out for ages.
In my case, I checked the breaker and connections, and everything looked fine. A hard reset of the Charge Station Pro helped temporarily, but the real fix was updating the station’s firmware and ensuring my truck’s software was up to date. If you haven’t already, try those steps, it made a big difference for me.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give the firmware update a shot and check my truck’s software too. Hopefully that’ll do the trick
