having some issues with my 2023 F150 Lightning Lariat ER when it comes to charging and battery temperatures, and I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar.

Last week, I had the dealer replace the coolant bypass valve because it was causing drivetrain malfunction messages. After that, everything seemed fine, until I went on a road trip this weekend. While charging at a DC fast charger, the charge rate initially hit around 160kW, but it quickly dropped to about 100kW and then slowly to 70kW, even though my state of charge (SOC) was below 50%. The outside temperature was in the high 90s, so I thought it might be heat-related.

Things got worse today. I was charging again, and the rate started at 155kW but dropped rapidly to 90kW at around 45% SOC. I moved to another charger at the same station, but it only gave me 80kW. I decided to try a completely different station a couple of miles away, but there the rate was only 40kW on a 350kW charger.

After unplugging at 60% and getting on the highway, I noticed that the battery temperature was maxed out on the display, showing an orange bar, and my power was reduced to 68%. The motor temperature seemed fine, and there weren’t any error messages on the truck display or in the Ford app, which made it even more puzzling.

I’ve already scheduled an appointment with the dealer to have them look into it, but I’m trying to figure out what might be going on. My guesses are low coolant, a faulty temperature sensor, or maybe an issue with the coolant pump.
