I'm somewhat dissatisfied with Ford's F-150 Lightning charging system. On the road, things are different, even though the NEMA 14-50 charging at home is fantastic. Even with adapters, I can't seem to keep the charge rate at 24A, which makes it challenging to use regular outlets without running the risk of overloading them. To gain basic charging capabilities, you have to rely on third-party solutions like Tesla's mobile connector and adapters, which is annoying. Ford, needs to listen to the advice of your consumers and update the software of the car to include a basic "24A charging limit" option.

IMO what's even more important than having a 24A charging limit is the ability to control the charging rate right from the truck itself. Having that kind of control through software would give way more flexibility and make the whole charging process a lot more efficient.
