I was looking through the Lightning eSource book and saw that the charging port for the F-150 Lightning is on the driver’s side of the truck. I had initially thought (based on some pictures I’ve seen) that there might be charging ports on both sides, but now I'm second-guessing that assumption.

Can anyone confirm if the Lightning only has the charging port on the driver’s side? If that’s the case, it’s definitely going to influence where I set up my 240v wall charger at home. Would love any insight from those who already have their Lightning or have looked into the setup!

Yes, the F-150 Lightning only has the charging port on the driver’s side. It’s something to consider for your charger setup at home.

The charging port is exclusively on the driver’s side. The panel on the passenger side is just for show, it doesn’t open, and there’s absolutely nothing inside. Purely decorative!

If you're slapping that 240V at home, make sure it's within reach of the driver’s side.

Is it one port or two for Lightning charging?
so I was going through the Lightning eSource book and it looks like the charging port is strictly driver's side. Was anyone else expecting dual ports, or was that just wishful thinking? This definitely changes my home charging setup plans, so I'm curious, can anyone with a Lightning confirm this single-port situation? And for those who've already installed their 240V chargers, any tips on placement, especially with the port being on that specific side?
