Hello everyone! My off-grid setup relies on solar power, so I charge my truck from 12 PM to 5 PM. However, the Lightning ignores the schedule and starts charging between 11 PM and 1 AM, draining my house batteries. I can’t stop or start charging remotely, and it won’t charge only when excess power is available. Any thoughts on this pls?

Try matching the settings in both the FordPass app and the truck, and consider a system reset if that doesn’t work. I wonder if it is a software update matter...

Your truck will start charging within the scheduled window but will continue until it reaches the set charge limit. If it is charging outside your set time, check if the charge limit is too high. Try to lower it and test if it stops chargin earlier. Also, keep in mind that the truck may still draw power while plugged in to heat or cool the battery.

Just double-check if you've got the "use selected charge times" option ticked, or if "charge to 100%" is checked instead. You’ll find that setting on the first page, right before you choose your times and provider!
