Hey guys, I just grabbed my F150 Lightning a couple weeks ago, and I noticed the battery health is already at 94% (shoutout to my car scanner!). I've only put like 1k miles on it.

Is this normal for a new ride, or should I be worried? Should I hit up my dealer? What do you guys think is the best move here?

You should definitely be concerned about that! That’s not cool for a ride that’s just a couple weeks old.
I’ve got around 12k miles, and my battery health is still at 100%. Srsly, you should swing by your dealer and get this checked out!

Totally agree with @Maddogg628! Battery health dropping that fast is definitely worth looking into, esp for a new ride.
Might be a good idea to see if there are any software updates or issues with your charging habits too.
Better to play it safe and swing by the dealer for a check-up!

Yeah, that’s a bit lower than expected for a brand-new truck, but it could just be the scanner reading the buffer incorrectly. The battery management system usually protects some capacity for long-term health. I’d keep an eye on it for a few weeks and see if it drops more before heading to the dealer.

True! Sometimes those scanners can throw off weird numbers, and the battery might still be fine. But yeah, definitely a good idea to keep an eye on it, and hit up the dealer if it drops more. If it keeps tanking though, I’d be a little more worried.
