I'm going to install a new electrical outlet for my truck. I need to make sure it's safe and powerful enough. I'm not sure how to limit the amount of power it uses, but I'm planning to install a 100 amp copper line from the panel to the charging station. Does anyone have any advice?

Yeah, just make sure your circuit breaker and panel can support the new outlet. I hope you install a dedicated 100-amp circuit breaker in your panel for the outlet. In case of an overload, it will trip. This helps limit the amount of power the outlet can draw and prevent electrical hazards. And of course, installing a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for safety. Good job and good luck!
