Hello, everyone!
I am setting up a new outlet (NEMA 14-50), for a more powerful charger. Initially, I wanted to use a Ford charger with this outlet, but I watched a video on YouTube, and the guy used a Charge Station Pro with a PT-14-60P-C20 pigtail connector. Do you know if this is safe?

It might work, but I’d be cautious.....Using a pigtail connector like the PT-14-60P-C20 with a NEMA 14-50 outlet could be risky since it might not follow code. While range cords are used by some, they often exceed the length limits set for certified EVSEs. Make sure to check local codes and safety guidelines before proceeding

The FCSP is only useful if you need it to power your home.

I'd sell it and get a different hardwired charger. Most car companies are switching to Tesla's charging standard next year, so a Tesla Universal Wall Connector can charge both current and future cars.
