Is it safe to close the garage door on FCSP cord?

Good day, everyone!

I have my charger (FCSP) installed in my garage on a 240V 30A circuit (temporarily, because soon enough I am going to upgrade it to a 100A circuit). For whatever reason, I installed the charger inside the garage near the door so I could charge the car outside of the garage. But here is the thing I am writing this... when I close the garage door, it closes on the charging cable. Is this safe? Should I be aware of damaging the cable or the setup? I would appreciate your thoughts!

I’d avoid letting the garage door pinch the cord, even temporarily. While it might not seem like much, repeated pressure could compromise the cable’s integrity. If modifying the door isn’t an option right now, maybe try routing the cable through a side gap or using a door protector designed for cords. Definitely worth addressing before upgrading your circuit!
